Our History
Precision Research, Inc. was founded in 1959 as Precision Interviewing Service. Not much is known about the firm's early years. However, around the mid 70's the owner of the Company retired and left the manager in charge.
At this time the firm was quite small, as was the industry. The Company operated out of the basement of the manager's home in Chicago. In 1977 the manager, tired of running the Company, offered the management responsibility and position to Iona Adleman, an interviewer. The Company moved from one basement to another as Mrs. Adleman took control. The following year some tax law changes along with a lack of interest in the Company prompted the owner to sell Precision. The Company was sold to Iona Adleman in 1978 for the sum of one dollar.
At the time the Company was purchased it employed less than 15 people, all part time, and paid no rent as it worked out of a home.
Today the Company has grown to become a leader in the field of data collection. It currently employs over 100 people.
What has happened since 1978 is a symbol of the firm's dedication to its clients, Marketing Researchers across the country.
Precision functions primarily as a data collection company, administering surveys to consumers and industry decision makers. Its efforts help companies to create and improve products and services based on what the market desires. Our clients range from very large manufacturers and service companies to smaller advertising agencies, marketing research companies, and marketing consultants.

While these are some of our most requested services, we are not limited to only these. Precision Research, Inc. takes a broader approach to its market, considering itself a business service company, filling the temporary marketing labor needs of industry.
