Video Conferencing
Precision Research, Inc. offers two types of video conferencing.
- Video Streaming over the internet via FocusVision or Active Group.

- Traditional Video Conferencing (direct location to location two way communication).
Each method offers unique benefits which may effect which you opt to use.
Video Streaming
The most popular way to view research remotely is using streaming video over the internet. It offers simultaneous viewing from up to 20 sites worldwide. All you need is internet access with a connection speed of 90K (about 2 times the speed of a modem). The size of the image is limited to a 4" window and the quality is partly dependent on your connection speed. Camera movement is optional.
Camera Control: There are two options for controlling the camera. The best way is to leave the driving to us. Our experienced camera operators keep up with the action while the remote viewers just sit back and watch. The second method is to use a fixed wide-angle perspective.
Traditional Point to Point Video Conferencing With this system you have a two way video conversation with our research facility and your video conferencing site(s). This approach requires the viewers to have video conferencing equipment at their location or the rental of a properly equipment facility.
The picture fills the monitor, typically 27" or larger and the reception is near TV quality. While this system allows for two-way communication, during a typical research interview or group discussion this feature is not used. Generally only one location views the research session although several locations could participate through the use of a bridging (linking) service. Camera options mirror those for video broadcasting with the additional opportunity of having the viewer control the cameras.
